BTE (Behind The Ear)
In BTE the electronic circuit is housed in a case that fits behind the ear. Tubing and a custom made ear mould direct the sound to the ear canal. These hearing aids provide more amplification than smaller devices due to the strong amplifier and the larger battery and can be fitted for varying degree of hearing losses.
In the Canal Hearing Aids
The ITC, fit into the ear canal. This hearing aid is used for mild to severe hearing losses.
CIC (Completely-In-The-Canal Hearing Aid)
The CIC is one of the smallest model in hearing aids and is especially suitable if you have a mild to severe hearing loss. It is a custom made shell that contains all the electronic components. The shell is placed deep in the ear canal, making the hearing aid almost nearly invisible. For easy everyday removal, the CIC has a small extension cord attached to the outside. A CIC model works fully automatically.
